Gender Affirming Care
Activity
Standardized Patients
For this Standardized Practice Session, students will encounter 2 Standardized Patient scenarios focused on Gender Affirming Care: (1) Coming Out Anxiety; and (2) Hormone Replacement Therapy for a patient over 40 years old. Students are paired with one preceptor over the 2.5-hour standardized practice session, with SPs rotating at the half-way point of the session.
