Students should make informed decisions about diagnostic and therapeutic interventions based on patient information and preferences, up-to-date scientific evidence, and clinical judgment. The student should be able to choose diagnostic interventions using evidence or best practice/guidelines according to costs and availability of resources, taking into consideration the way in which care is organized.
