Violet Sual, a 71 year old woman, leads an active life. Her husband died 3 years ago and Vi has stayed living in their home. Vi enjoys giving of her time at the church and volunteers in the reading program at the local primary school. Sunday morning before church, Vi settled down to her usual cup of coffee, toast and the weekend paper. Suddenly, she seemed to go blind. When her vision returned, after a few seconds, she looked down at the paper and although she could see the print she could not understand what it meant.
