Mya Grayne is a 17 year old girl who has been brought to her family doctor by her mother because of worsening headaches. The headaches started when she was 12 years of age, and have been becoming more frequent and severe over time. This past year she has missed over 30 days of school because of her headaches. Currently, she gets moderately painful headaches three times per week, and severe headaches twice per month. Both headache types are similar in character, but the intensity of the pain differs.
