Review the bones of the shoulder and upper limb. Identify the relevant surface prominences and bony landmarks on yourself/partner. Understand the soft tissue support of the shoulder and elbow joints. Identify the muscles allowing for motion/stability of the shoulder girdle. Identify the muscles allowing for motion/stability of the upper arm and forearm. Define the boundaries and importance of the axilla. Identify the muscles allowing for motion of the forearm and wrist. Define the boundaries and contents of the cubital fossa. Identify the intrinsic hand muscles. Define the boundaries and contents of the carpal tunnel. Define the blood and nerve supplies of the upper limb. Trace the paths of these major nerves and blood vessels.
