Sara Koo is a 21 year old Korean university student who presents to your office with right knee pain. She localizes the pain to right behind her right kneecap. The pain is aggravated by squatting or walking up and down stairs. When she walks a number of flights of stairs she notices the pain significantly worsens. When she plays intramural basketball the pain worsens later on in the game and can remain until late the next day. She has tried advil for the pain which worked initially but more recently the pain has been worsening
