Active Large Group Session
To apply a Trauma-Informed Care approach as a medical student participating in direct patient care, with a focus on following the five guiding principles of trauma-informed care (safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment). To demonstrate an inclusive approach to sexual history-taking using the 5Ps Approach (Practices, Partners, Protection from STBBIs, Past History of STBBIs, Pregnancy). To apply a gender-affirming approach to clinical assessments for trans and gender-diverse patients, including patient-centered discussion of medical transition.
