This early introduction to clinical medicine offers medical students a chance to work with patients in a primary care setting alongside busy practitioners and/or family medicine residents. Students will experience an overview of family medicine through placement with a family physician, for a total of 12 hours. This will occur in blocks during MF2, MF3, and MF4. Appropriately spacing out the half days will ensure students have had enough time for reflection and self study. Through the LFME, you will become more comfortable in a clinical practice and have the opportunity to practice your clinical skills in a supervised setting.
