- Describe the evaluation and differential diagnosis of a patient presenting with bloody diarrhea.
- Discuss the presentation and management of ulcerative colitis (UC) and compare to Crohn’s disease (CD).
- Compare and contrast the histology of the normal GI tract and the GI tract of those with Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) (UC and CD).
- Examine the imaging features of the normal GI tract and compare to the GI tract of those with Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
- Describe the management of a patient with toxic megacolon.
- Describe the evaluation and differential diagnosis of a patient presenting with elevated liver enzymes.
- Discuss the presentation, management and complications of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC).
- Compare and contrast the histology of the normal hepatobiliary system and those with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC).
