To be introduced to the basic elements of describing dermatological lesions/rashes. Pro-Comp Connection– Patients with Skin of Colour. People with skin of colour include those from a variety of racial and ethnic groups, including persons of African, Indigenous, Middle Eastern, and Latino/a/x backgrounds. Visible minorities make up close to 20% of Canada’s total population,and therefore it is important to acknowledge how skin of colour can affect our approach to the clinical exam.
